Artist's Comments
This is something I did for my first Illustrator class (summer 2004). It's a reproduction of a piece by Patrick Nagel. I'm not a huge fan of Nagel, but I've grown to appreciate his work while reproducing this piece. It was a little difficult... well, at the time it was rather difficult since I only had a few weeks experience with Illustrator. It was a great way to learn how to take advantage of creating your own art brushes. In the end, I think I was really successful in reproducing it.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
